Preserving the Environment of Komodo National Park

July 15, 2011 No Comments » - Komodo is in fact Indonesia’s primordial native animal, an undeniable ocular proof. Its natural habitat can only be found in Indonesia, which is in Komodo Island, Rinca and some other islands in Nusa Tenggara. This slight fact has just shown that komodo is indeed The Real Wonder of The World.

“Yes, Komodo National Park (KNP) is certainly The Real Wonder of The World,” said Mr Ranger.

Behind his simple appearance, Mr. Ranger had another thought on this national park. The existence of komodo itself can be a parameter of the environment condition. According to him, komodos can still survive up to these days because the conditions of its surroundings still support their lives. If komodo were to become extinct, that would mean that the nature had significantly changed.

“Having only a climate change like this had already seriously affected the komodo. Their eggs were fleetly decayed,” explained Mr. Ranger.

Therefore, the most important thing at the present time, aside from the promotion of Komodo National Park, is to preserve the environment so that the extinction of komodo could be prevented. This is so because the damage to nature would trigger a more extreme climate change and at the end of the day would interfere the survival of komodo.
